VINTAGE RED LINE HOT WHEELS BEATNIK BANDIT BROWN 1968!!

Scored this baby off eBay for $20! Aint she a beauty?!
She is just as old as I am, and still lookin' perty!

Ok, enough with the drooling! Gonna get back into the Hot Wheels Game!
This was a love of mine when I was a kid, because my Dad was into classic cars
and he would always buy Hot Wheels for himself as well as me.
I had a decent collection myself (still do!) when I was a kid.
The cars, the strips upon strips
of orange track!!
Not only that, my Dad knew Larry 'Elwood' Wood!
(For those who know, yeah! For those who need an explanation...)
Larry Wood is THE chief designer of Hot Wheels for Mattel!
Anyway, both he and my Dad were Early Times Car Club members respectively.
I went to the Early Times 40th Annual Picnic last year, and ran into Larry.
Knowing he would be there; I had him sign not 1 but 2
"Hot Wheels-HOF Legends" series of the 'Evil Twin' car on plastic card!
(see pics below!)

(Autographed card #1)

(Autographed card #2)

He asked me "Now your not going to sell these on Ebay, are you?"
I said "Hell No Larry!! I still got your artwork you did for
my
Dad on my walls at home!"

So the pictures I have are:

(Drawing Larry did for my Dad of his 1934 Dodge, dated 1976)

(Concept art of Custom Truck by Larry for my Dad. Date possibly early 1980)

("Get Well" card Larry did for my Dad when he was in the hospital the 1st time.
All the Early Times members signed the back of it! The '32 Roadster never looked better!! 1990?)

(2nd 'Get Well" card by Larry for my Dad! Showing my Dad's 51' custom Merc
'BIG FOOT'ed out,
crushing the '34 Dodge and '56 Bel-Air Chevy!
Really cool!
My Dad loved this pic! Early 1993)

NOTE: These pics will not be for sale, so please dont bother askin'!!

-----

Anyway, I'm aiming towards pre-1990's-era Hot Wheels.
Not into the newer versions, they look fucking lame
with the new rims for some reason.
GIVE ME SOME OLD-SCHOOL!!
