BRITISH COMEDY

I have always been and always will be: a fan of British Comedy!

It all started back in the day with the legendary Benny Hill, with his raucous slapstick comedy show and the immortal Monty Python skits on BBC in the 70's , then the cult favoriteThe Young Ones in the 80's!

Finding these shows were hard on cable off and on, mainly because of channel programming. These days you can still find re-runs of Monty Pythons Flying Circus, as well as various bits and pieces like Mr. Bean.

When I first saw the movie "Shaun of the Dead", I laughed my ass off! Not only was the movie a homage to Romero's chapters, it was BRITISH!!! (And 'Yes!' I own the DVD!)

I even went as far as finding out all I can about Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Seems like they had a show called 'Spaced' on the tele for a while. (which I have found both volumes of the short-lived show on DVD luckily!!)

Here's a sample of the the insane antics of Simon and Nick:

I cannot wait to get my collection going again!!
